QUEENSLAND RACEWAY
Queensland Raceway is the state’s premier motorsport facility, located 45 minutes west of the Brisbane CBD. Affectionately known as QR, the track has become the hub for the development and future of motorsport in Australia. Constructed in 1999 and has hosted national championship events, including the Supercars Championship and the Australian Superbike Championship. While being the best testing track in the country for the Supercars Championship. The preferred track for the top teams in the series, QR has bred many a champion.
The scene of epic battles in the Supercars Championship across two decades, Queensland Raceway has embedded itself as a prominent piece of Australian motorsport heritage. The six-corner track design offers expansive straights, long braking areas and six totally different corner profiles. The circuit is technically difficult to conquer and offers a unique challenge for drivers of all experience levels.
There are four different circuit layouts including the famous National track – the Clubman, Sprint and Sportsman are all utilised across events.
